![]() ![]() ![]() The proposed would be modeled per the design docs. Per the wording in ASHRAE 90.1 (2007), you were allowed to model the baseline to match the existing conditions prior to renovations as long as a few conditions were met (this was specified in Appendix G ? I want to say in section 8 of the table). The baseline model I did for Climate zone 8 here in Alaska was a little over a year and a half ago but hopefully this will help. If there are some updates to the prescribed layers and/or insulation levels for one or more zones, you could likely use this as a helpful template to update for a new ready-to-import INP reference, possibly sharing your efforts in the same spirit!Į nicholas.caton at That may also be the case for 2013 (fully or in part). I haven?t crossed checked to be certain, but I believe 90.1-2010 is fully matching 90.1-2007 in regards to opaque envelope prescriptions so this would be ready to go in that circumstance. Perhaps some individual(s) who have done work in Alaska over the past year or so has completed the set and can share (wink wink at a select few of you?)? I believe at this point it is inclusive of every zone?s opaque constructions as prescribed via Appendix A/G, excepting Zone 8 roofs & exposed floors. Here attached is something I consider a ?public? resource that I?ve help develop to some extent but has roots in being traded across these lists in years past. ![]()
